Welcome to Wood Walton. How we deal with you, how we help you grow your business, how we help you achieve your business and financial goals ... is what sets us apart, unlike any other accountancy firm!

Wood Walton was founded in 1973 by Alec Sinclair to service the Tauranga business community and surrounding areas. Alec retired in 1995 leaving a thriving and expanding practice.

The Wood Walton team is diverse in expertise and experience.

Peter Wood, now Senior Partner, joined the firm in 1986, Andrew Walton in 1993, Neville Watkins in 2002 and Tracy Rea in 2002. The depth of knowledge shared amongst these four directors coupled with their commitment to setting the standard in accountancy and business partnering ensures Wood Walton offers a level of expertise and client support that is quite simply unmatched.

Supporting the directors are three experienced and competent managers. They are responsible for supervising crucial areas of administration, accounting and Maori advisory services. The managers are in turn supported by a team of dedicated accounting and administration personnel.

Wood Walton maintains its reputation as a provider of cutting edge advice and services by ensuring all staff take part in regular continuing education. The firm supports the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants with all principals and several staff maintaining active memberships.
